I am getting this error on my Sony P73 with Sony's 128MB Memory Stick.
What the Hack?
All my vacation photos are ruined..............

  you can take your memory stick to walmart and have the pics printed their from their Kodak machine. I had to do this as well - since I'm getting the same error msg. I thought I had lost my pics, but was able to print them at walmart.
  
  Good luck, I'm still trying to fix my camera before I trash it.
