I have the same problem. I have a JVC DVL915. I bought a new, more powerful battery, as I thought the old battery was dead. I have a number of problems with this camcorder right now. I only get power when the camera is plugged in with the AC adapter. No charge light, but the camera seems to have power. If I try to record, it seems to work fine. When I try to play back...just a blue screen with a message saying to "use a head cleaner." I cleaned the heads. Also, if I try to remove the cassette, it will not fully eject. If I unplug the camera, no power. Can someone help??? I have a six month old baby and I am missing alot of important moments that I would love to be capturing.
