Receive drop-out...help!!

Occasionally my 25 inch Sony will lose receive, audio and video. Wont pick up TV, won't play DVD, nothing. After a few hours or in a day or two, it comes back. Drop-out lasts a few minutes to a day or so. Any ideas?? I'm electronics savvy (20 yrs) but no TV experience. I know its in the rxer, but where??
