On button wont work

I have a kds640wt and Ive lost the face plate. I found a used kds640 "not wt " when I plug it in the on button doesnt seem to work.THe other bottons seem to work,it will even advance in a cd but will not play.will this face plate work? radio doesnt respond either. thanks Jim
