This is the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned

I was given this walkman mini disc player for my birthday and it's trash. I will never buy another sony product. It seems to play once in a while after alot of hassle. I can't figure out what made it start to play and if I advance it to the next song it won't play anything else until I unplug it and pick it hours or days later after another great big hassle and I can't figure out what it was that makes it play
