Sony KP43T75

Sony KP43T75

My TV went dead and the timer light blinks. Repairmen said he will have to change to circuit board and will cost 500$ and TV needs to be brought to the shop. He mentioned 1 in 10 TV of this model has this problem. TV is about 5 years old. Worth to save it or is he giving me bad estimate? Thanks

I have a fully working Sony KP43T75 for sale. There is nothing wrong with the set - we use it every day. We are selling it complete with stand. If anyone is interested, please email me with what you're willing to spend and we can take it from there.

Yes, this was fixed by NJ based repair shop. They mentioned this was very common problem with SONY brand TV and particularly the model I own. You may want to contact any shop mentioned on SONY website and they will be able to help you out.
