Sony DSC T1 error 61:10

I have tried the bang method about 20 times, even blatantly dropping it from head height and still nothing. So I thought this is b.s., and didn't try for about 3 weeks, then checking the forums again, I thought may as well give it another crack and gave it a bang on the bottom, on the table, and bada bing!!although it was out of focus still but no error!! So then when still on, gave it another and you little beauty. Fixed T1. I think just keep banging it till it goes good.
