Battery problem

Dsc-S70 camera doesn't recognize Sony original batteries. Unit powers up,lense extends,lcd powers on,then message "For infolithium battery only" comes on. After message camera shuts off. Any ideas? thanks

It will help if you tell the history of this camera. From my experience this is due to corrupted memory settings. Please reply by email if you need more details. Thanks.
