HomeTrouble shooting JVC GRD73US I have problem in JVC camcorder JVC GRD73US purchased last August. I am having trouble getting a picture on my camcorder. When I turn it on I only see black through the lens and/or through the screen. It looks like the cap is still on the lens. Constantly gives the lens cap warning in automatic and manual modes. Will only record sound. LCD is black with only the warning message.

Searching this forum I found a post that indicated that JVC was repairing this problem NC even if the warranty period had expired on certain models. I pay shipping to the repair center, 10 day turnaround and they ship back to me Fed Ex 2nd day. Good luck! I have the same problem with my JVC Gr-sxm250u - Have you found out what the problem is? |
