HomeTRV57E not taking tape into machine I have a Sony TRV57E. If I put in a tape and close the door it will not take the tape into the machine. After about 30 seconds it springs the door open. If I shut the door without a tape, it seems to load ok. Any ideas? Cheers

I'm having the same problem with my Sony CCD TRV46. I cannot find anything on the web regarding this issue. When I load a new or old tape the door will not shut. After closing door it does not fully load. Again, after about 30 seconds the door pops back open. I'm not sure if it's worth bringing to a repair shop as it's about 5-6 years old. |
