LCD MONITOR PROBLEMS

Please help! I just bought this camcorder one month ago. It had worked fine - I don't know what happened - but now the lcd monitor only works when it is rottated away from me! So, the subjects can see themselves - but I cannot view anything on the monitor! It only powers on when it is rotated away from the filmer! How can I fix this so that I (the filmer) can view the screen while filming? Thanks.
