sony kp-41ds1u

I have a sony kp-41ds1u wide digital projection tv and was woundering if anyone could help me. In the top right hand corner of the screen is the letters 'MHEG' and the screen always seems to go dark and the volume really loud. If anyone could tell me why this is happening then i would be greatfull and also would anyone know how i could get my hands on the sony manual to fix it. thanx
