Stereo System

Brenda Posted Dec 01, 2005

Not only did we purchase a stereo system that stopped working correctly after 18 months, but no one at headquarters has bothered to respond to my 3 letters. How do you get someone to help you?

We purchased what we thought was a quality stereo system for our oldest son for Christmas, 2003. In June of 2005, the CD section of the system stopped working. I did receive one e-mail telling me what the problem might be, and that I would have to pay for the repairs. I contacted the service center that was recommended and no one at that location has returned my phone call. I then proceeded to contact other places about repairing this quality product that stopped working after a short 18 months, and I found out that it will cost as much as if not more to repair this one section than what we paid for the unit. I have written three letters, and NO ONE has contacted me about not only the poor quality of this unit, but the poor customer service we have received. I do not recommend JVC products to anyone. I wish I had read this website before purchasing a JVC product. I wish there was someone we could contact about the poor customer service that customers receive from JVC.
