HomeTV turning itself off and light blinking on the front?? I had this happen this morning where I turned on the TV, it turned itself off after a few seconds before the picture kicked in, and the light on the fron began blinking and it was completely non-responsive to any buttons. I unplugged the TV, plugged it back in, and it would turn itself on, but again after a few seconds, turn itself off, light blinking, etc. I see a few people here have the same problem, and if you have the answer to how to fix this, i'd be very grateful. I have also contacted JVC to say HELLOOOO there's lots of us who've spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on these TVs and would love to know whats wrong with them. If/when I get an answer, I will post it on here. Again, any help would be so appreciated. X

I had an engineer look at my tv, he explained that the switch failing and flashing is a cut off switch to stop the tv from blowing up, so anything could be wrong with your tv. (mine, to repair would of cost 3 times as much as the tv was worth...) and as the warrenty was only 12 months I could not claim anything from JVC. Hope this has answered you question, and you are right nobody seems to write on this forum.... maybe u r hitting the power button twice instead of once. or maybe ur computer could be effecting it. u should call someone if it keeps on doing it. |
