i have a Sony TV Trinitron KV-32542 that wont turn on. Stand by/timer light is flashing. Any ideas how to turn

i have a Sony TV Trinitron KV-32542 that wont turn on. Stand by/timer light is flashing. Any ideas how to turn the TV back on?

    1'st you need to pick the tv, tilt it at a 45 degree angle,lift it avove your head and jump 112 times, once you've completed that plug it back in and punch the side a couple times ..it worked for me...

    A red light saying on temp timer. How do I turn back on my TV. Thank you for your time.

    My sony tv just starting falshing the light and no picture. It trys to turn on then shuts off and the lgith flashing code is 5 times then 3 times and input please.

    I have aproblem in sony t. v. i.e. sign of stand by /timer. that is no noise and no picture in t.v.

    Sorry to give you bad news... Your tv is STUFFED! :) Those standby light flashes are actually a service code - Indicating a fault by the number of flashes. IF you had included the flash count - I may have been able to give you an indication of what the fault is.. Short story = Take it to a qualified repair shop. Preferably a sony authorised network repairer. TV's carry voltages upward of 25 THOUSAND volts! Even when switched off! More than enuf to throw you well across the room - out the window - across the street even! ;) -\RfTech Australia

    I have a Sony trinitron that does not turn on but the the stand by timer light blinks. What is wrong...very upset...
