6 month old JVC GR-DX97...makes a whirring noise while recording and playing...doesnt playback or record properly...intermittent problem

history.. this is my second camera (had a canon elura 40mc which only lasted 1 year before eject tape error) bought this one 6 months ago. 1 month after i bought it..it had pixelation problems...took it to repair shop..they fixed it under 90day warranty..a few weeks later it developed a whirring noise while playing and recording...during which it flashes images from what i recorded with static in between. I took it back to repair shop(they had 30 day warranty one their repair). they fixed it again. 3months later had same whirring problem(no longer under warranty). i started looking at the mechanism and trying different tapes and it suddenly started working properly again...couple weeks later same problem..now i can't get it to go away....any advice..i'm getting tired of repurchasing mini dv cams...since the problem went away once on it's own..i figure i may be able to fix it somehow
