Re[7]: JVC av-27920

Eric Posted Jan 17, 2006, in response to:Robert

Robert The DC voltage at pin 7 of the Vertical Out IC is supplied by D421 and C424 from the 25V Supply. The waveform shown at pin 7 is supplied by the IC, as it assists the waveform at pin 3 (pump up). Do you have a way to check the input signal to the Vertical Out IC (Pin 4)? It should show as the Sams I sent you (1.5VPP). If the input waveform is okay, try to find a way to remove Q702 or R705 or if possible cut the trace feeding them with an X-Acto knife and see if the problem clears. I believe Q702 feeds V. Sync to the Micro for OSD. Eric

Hello Eric Took Q702 off the board,no difference.I would like to say thankyou again for your time.I am giving up on it.What I do is I repair them for a charity in town.I have repaired a number of tvs and am still learning.I do not have lets say, some of the fancy equipment you guys have such as the scope, which would make my life a little more easier. In time I may get one,but for now the budget says nope.Anyway I would like to email you if I run into some problems that you might have the answer for,and again I would like to say thankyou.Rob
