Home | Previous messageWe have the same problem with our E61 and if you find anything that would work to record the tapes to VHS could you please let us know. We would like to do the same thing but are unable to locate either another camcorder or something to use to transfer the tapes. Thanks for your assistance. Norman Kerr

There is a Sony camcorder we bought about 6 months ago that plays both Hi8 and digital 8 cassettes. It was only about $300 or so. Besides it replacing our Canon E61 as a camcorder, we also used it to copy the old Hi8 tapes from the Canon E61 that died to DVD (can also be done to VHS using the RCA jacks). |
