Hey Scott, Funny thing, I just pulled my JVC AX-410 out of the cupboard and dusted the bag off. Camera works fine (on AC power)charging battery to see if it's any good. It's about nine years old! Gosh time flies. I can't find the manual so I was looking for one online and found your question. The only error code I ever got with mine was for moisture. I allowed it to warm up a bit and it worked fine. Of course I can't remember what the code was. I don't know if this helps. I need to check if the jacks on the back are outs or ins. I seem to remember they were outs. I need something to record from another source (minicam on an RC plane. A recorder this small would be ideal for the field. U take care. Robert Krucia Trinidad

I also have a GR-AX410 i bought used, started to record, got the E03 code and now the 'Camera' option will not turn on. I can play the tapes, rewind, fast forward, play but I cannot record.
