Unable to detect drivers

We have upgraded to microsoft xp pro (from microsoft me), with ME we had no problems connecting the camera to the computer via USB and using image mixer and pixela to capture the movies....now when we attach the camera via USB with XP it won't install the drivers....do you have any suggestions?
