Re: dvd player won't play

Duc Nguyen Posted Feb 19, 2006, in response to:casey jonson

Hi my friend, You unplug it and plug it in again, then press open immediately.Try some times, if not open it, carefully. The problem means that the laser pick up unit is weak, try to clean it. You can use Q-tip to clean it. Normally, if you use DVD around 2-3 years with good quality disc, 4 hours a day, it becomes weak. If you use scratched or copied disc it happens sooner. "Don't try to use the bad quality disc with the good quality DVD". it will kill your DVD. Try to do it yourself. Good luck
