Absolutely DO NOT buy this piece of crap! I was so excited when I got it last year because of it's small size and I've had it only 6 months and it already won't turn on. I went to have it repaired and it's going to be almost $200 to repair it and you can buy a new one for that. I was VERY careful with the camcorder so it's not like that's what caused it. I'm a Communications major in college and have handled a hundred different cameras and camcorders so trust me when I say it wasn't my fault. The camera was obviously cheaply made and just quit working. Plus I had problems before this because it kept saying the lense cap was on when it wasn't. All in all DON'T buy it!

hey if u want to connect it to your computer buy this: USB Male to IEEE 1394 Firewire 4 Pin Male Adapter Converter it costs less than 5 dollars and works perfect. way better than getting a fireport

Personally, I've had mine for 18 months and use it all the time with no problems. My brother has the same one for the same amount of time. My mom got them for us when our kids were born (which was 3 months apart) I find it easy to use :)

Ive had this thing and somtimes it gets fuzzy but its all good the only thing if... u want it on the computer u have to have a fireport and not a USB! that makes me mad because i aint spendin 200 bucks for a fire port!
