I have recorded various sscenes of my family on DV cassettes. but could not copy the same on my computer in a normal mode

cassettes. but could not copy the same on my computer in a normal mode. factually it has been copied on CD but it is running like a currupt CD or say scenes are moving very slow in comparision to recorded scenes. When I run recorded cassette on my TV, scenes are very clear and running normal but recorded CD as well as copioed scenes on computer are very slow . I used window movie maker/ window XP. Please help me. There is no problem in my Computer
