I have a similar model TV that crapped out 3 weeks ago. It was bought new in 1994 and worked fine untill now. The problem is the picture disappears every few seconds continuously. I tried every thing using sony's web-site but does not work.Anyone out there wish to take a guess as to what might be the problem. One other observation a day ago the screen turned green as if it was going to blow and then the screen went black. After I turned it back everything was fine, however after about 5 minutes problem returned. Any assistance or help is appreciated as it is a old TV/model and I am considering if it is worth fixing.
