GR DVL 510 video to DVD

Hi, How can I capture video from my camera to the computer to a DVD disc? I have a new laptop with XP multimedia on it, with a port for the EEE connection. Do I just need a 4 pin to 4 pin (matches my laptop and the camera) in order for the laptop to "read" my video camera? Thanks
