plz help!!!

I need to find out how to change a password on a ps2 that was given to me. The person had lost the book and doesn't remember the password. The information that might be of some help to you is the following: model# SCPH-5000 1/N Serial # AS1937855 another # thing is PS2 NTSC U/C UPC # is: PX819378550 I can't get pass the change screen it comes up but I can't move my curser over to change password to something that I can rememeber Can you help me.
