I have a 35" Trinitron (35V35) about nine years old. The set takes about five minutes to come on, over a period of time. Once the set is on the contrast wasn't as sharp and I counld not adust correctly using the remote. Now I've encountered another problem, the set blinks off and on the whole time it's on, the sound is not affected. What could the problem be. Like the one the post that stated "Sony made TV's to fail". Help Jay
