took out tape, restarted, inserted tape, works now

I tried shaking and hitting the thing, but that didn't work. So, I took out the tape, shutdown the camcorder, restarted it, and reinserted the tape. It works now. Some strange low buzzing noise can be heard but it works. BTW, mine is a trv-310.
