Yay!! I just fixed my behemoth KV-32TW77. The picture has been flashing intermittently for about 6 months. MADDENING! So Ted, after a working up the courage to just start turning screws (last ditch effort) and risk breaking the thing even worse or perhaps death, the screen screw is a black plastic Philips-head screw located in a little hole, recessed in from the circuit board on the back of the picture tube (not down by the "focus" adjustment). It says "screen" in a little box right above it. I turned it back and forth until I found the right spot. Incredibly easy. Now we'll see how long that it lasts... Good luck with yours!!

I have a KV-32XBR, the "screen" adjustment was not next to the "focus" screw. It was on the backmost panel behind the tube (about 3x3 inches). Looking at the TV from behind, the screw was on the bottom left of the panel, label "G2". I turned slightly to the right, and blinking stopped. Hope it stays that way.
