Playback with bad audio and bad video. How/where do clean the heads?

During playback using digital camera (I don't have the model # with me at time of writing) the audio is broken and "tinny", the video is pixelated (in portions of tape). Audio and video is perfect on DVcam deck. Is there a way that i can clean the heads or should I take it to a dealer. Where in Houston TX do you recommend? Thanks
