My camera (dsc-s40) was working fine one day but all of a sudden it have an error turn off and on again. The problem is that it kept doing it.

I call the sony support people and they are telling me to buy the rechargeble batteries. I dont really see the how the batteries can be connected to this. Does anyone have the same problem and did the recharglebale batteries really did help? Truthfully i believe it could be a malfunction but again i can be wrong...
