Sony DSC P150 - Dismantled

ross Posted Jul 17, 2006

I have dismantled my camera and need help to repair it. Any ideas???????

i bought this camera over a year ago, fantastic camera. I dropped it and the lens is now jammed. My household insurance replaced the camera, but left me witht he old one. I am trying to repair it myself. So far i have managed to get into the body of the camera but the LCD is infront of the screws to allow me to get into the back of the lens compartment. How do i get this off? Could anyone assist me in repairing my camera?

Its great if you have an extra good lens for camera ,But if you dont have extra good lens .Its possible you might waste your time.Lens is not repairable if its jammed internally .There is no internal parts for lens .The entire lens would have to be be replaced if it is jammed .Lens would run anywhere from $150 to $200 alone ..Goodluck
