CONDENSATON

My camera has never been dropped in water but was exposed to below freezing temperatures for 2 days last Feb. It has not worked since either by battery or outlet power. I just keep getting a condensation warning. I was told it could take up to 4-6 months for it to "dry out". Just trying to find out if there is any h opw for it to work again or am I just wasting my time waiting?

Are you able to open the door (eject mode)? There is a sensor inside called a "dew detector". This is what's giving the error message. No way should it take that long to return to it's normal condition. Eric
