error code on sony cyber shot 3.2 mega pixel camera

i have an error code on my sony cyber-shot 3.2 mega pixel camera....the code is E:61:10 does anyone know what might be the problem, sony wants me to send it to them. could buy a new one for what they want to fix this one. thanks.
