Loss of operation

We had an electrical storm over the weekend that knocked out several of my electical items including my Intercom. I have checked both transformers and one is putting out 17 volts and the other 18.3. Is that correct? And if so, what else could be the problem? The panel is lit up and has power but only hums and no numbers will display. Thanks.
