I bought mine new in the mid 1990's (1994 or 1995, possibly 1993). It produces 120 watts per channel in stereo mode. That drops to 80 watts per channel in surround sound, if I remember correctly. I would have to locate my manual to be sure. I have never used surround sound. My room is rather small, and it has a "phantom" mode (imitatiing surround sound) for home theater use. I believe I paid $499 for it at a Circuit City near Atlanta, Ga. |
