Camcorder with no picture

I have a JVC gr-d30u camcorder and when I power it on, Im getting no picture. The sound records, but no picture. I fooled around in the menu and somehow the picture came on and I thought the problem was fixed...but when I turned it on today...No picture again. Please help Bobby
