Re: Mitsubishi TV lost video

Re: Mitsubishi TV lost video Eric - 6th Oct 2006 7:22 Andy Post the model and I'll check the Mits site to see if there's any info. Eric ====================================================================== Last I remember it's a VGA-6 ??? It's 60" in an oak cab with folding oak doors. The docs I had taped to the back are gone, and the model is nowhere on or in it. The s/n starts with R68304....... I'm guessing the R is for REAR projection. There seem to be 2 fuses and a triple fuse indicated, but they must be an odd type. I couldn't find them. Thanks for the reply Andy

All I could find on 60" Mits mfd in 1987 is VS683 and VS685. Sounds like a loss of vertical deflection, possibly caused by what your tech stated a bad cap or failure of the vertical out IC, or the power supply feeding it. Eric
