Another victim - my Sony DSC-S40 is only 6 months old - still under warranty. Store (Wal-mart) will not take it back and Sony is not responding to my emails- a first for Sony? And this will be my last Sony product. Unacceptable response from such a large company. Is this fix (including pics) a permanent repair? This white screen comes and goes as of a month or two ago. I would appreciate any help- it sounds like I need both the procedure and pics together? Thanks in advance Randy
