Well we called a repair service, they charged $35 to look at it, said it was the power supply, took out some parts at the bottom and are supposed to bring them back new I hope today or Monday. the price will be $388. I don't know anything about fixing a TV so guess I will find out. I called the SONY customer service number and they must be get a lot of calls we were referred to a local Sony certified repair shop, we called and they charge $350 to come out and take a look (!!!)
