Servo Error 94-What does it really mean??

I have a few Sony UVW-1800 and it keeps giving me a Servo Error 94 even when using different tapes. When I swap the deck at my clients location the same error occurs just now it's a different deck. Strange thing is that I only get this error at this clients site..I use the decks other places and there fine. I sent the deck in to be repaired and they tell me that there is nothing wrong with it. Any Ideas??
