Remove time from being displayed.

I lost the remote for my tv (JVC AV-27020). I set the clock from the controls on the front of the television. Now the time is displayed. Nothing I do can remove the clock from being shown. How can I do this without remote? How do I factory reset the TV? Thank You for your help!
