Re[3]: SONY ORIGINAL PARTS

I have a 6-year old Sony big screen Model KP53S75, a TV repair man this morning told me it was fried and not worth fixing. The transformer on the G-board needs replacing. The part number for the G-Board is 1-673-416-13, the transformer part number is T504, 6-598-994-02. If you could help me with this problem I would appreciate it. Thank you, Michael

  That transformer is about 35 bucks from Sony but chances are the capactor next to it poped(c514 I think) and sprayed it with oil. The cap is like 2 bucks. If you still have the set it is a cheap fix.

  Did you find this part? I have the same TV and the same board went out... the repair guy said that it would be 600.00 to get remanufactured... said that the board continues to fry when power button is turned on... Have you found any resources for this fix?
