Low Battery symbol with full battery Can it be reset?

I Have a DSC-S70 I bought the wrong memory for it(I assume). I put the sandisk memory pro 512 mb Magic Gate I got a memory error C:13:01 Now the camara shows the batery being empty when they are fully charged. This happens with both batterys that were working perfectly fine before this. So how bad did I screw up? I tried the reset as stated on Sony site. No Go
