AV-36985

i came home one day just like everyone else to try and turn my t.v. on and guess what it didn't work. so after about a week of being pissed off, i was going to take it to a repair shop. then i decided to google the model # to see what comes up. i found this posting site. and what do you know, everyone is having the same problem. well i did just like everyone else and visited radio shack. i took the back of the t.v. off, looked at the circuit board, went to radio shack, bought the part, bought a soldering iron, came home, heated up the back of the board where that part was to remove it, pulled it right out, then placed in the new part (there is a negative side so look before removing), soldered the new one, put the back of the t.v. back on, plugged it in and presto it works. its actually easy and i don't deal with circuit boards
