I dropped my camera and am also having trouble getting the lense back in.

I recently knocked my Sony DSC-S60 camera off a shelf when I placed it there to pick something up. The camera was on when it fell, and thus the lens is now stuck out. Every time I try to turn the camera on it makes a weird noise and tells me to turn the camera back off and on again, however when i turn it off it makes a humming noise and then eventually shuts off. I can still view the pictures I have taken however I cannot take anymore. My camera should still be under warraty but the problem is I got it as a gift and the person cannot find the receipt. Please help.
