Trying to adjust screen position

This TV was manufactured by JVC in December 1994 and has the model # av-2774s. I have tried several methods that I found on the web to no avail. Perhaps I am doing it wrong, or maybe there is a code, different from those I have found that works with this set. Thank you in advance. Brian
