TV shuts it self off.

My Sony KV32S26 shuts itself off at different intervals. It briefly shows a green screen as it shuts off. Any idea what could be the cause? Once in a while, the screen flickers a flash of green. I've checked the sleep timer and it is not on. I tried to set it for 90 minutes but the tv shut off after 39 minutes. It has gone off as soon as 12 minutes and stayed on as long as 39 minutes. It turns back on without hesitation when using the remote or the on/off button.
