What is the model name that you purchased, Chris. I have all sony VCR slv-595hf, Stereo cassette deck, tc we-405/wr661/wr350z, color trinitron kp-41t35/48s35/53s35/61s35,fm stereo fm-am receicer str-de515/str-de415/str-de315/str-d360z and another remote control which is control all of them but booklet does not have codes for tuner codes it does have all function in one....yes it is confusing because I bought all at the same time ..the only one I am using it is stereo am/fm receiver that carry all function at one exept the receiver, that I like to turn it on manually ...it is hard to explain.... but if you bought universal one should have a booklet beside the controller and I am sure will work for SONY STR-DE315 or receiver.Or go to sony side and order one am/fm receiver that will work for STR-DE315 this will come with booklet and other sony brands electronics codes are in there as well. greg
