color isn't accurate

Vivian Posted Dec 24, 2006

I have a JVC: GR-D370U and the color doesn't seem accurate on it.

In normal recording mode - no enhancements or anything - the color seems a sepia color, even though it's not set for that color. Everything seems brown. And even with lots of light, it still records REALLY dark, unless I turn the 'light' on, and then my frames look 'shuttered' and jerky. This camcorder is brand new. I had a Sony TVR something... and it recorded great! But I wanted something that could take still pic's. Did I compromise the quality of my recordings for the still pic's option?
